ANZAC Slides

 My name is raffaele.  Last term we were doing some Anzac Day work that I didn't get to post it.  I learnt some very good facts and stories about ANZAC day and World War I and II.  it's important to remember the ones who lost their lives in the war even though it is sad.  the thing that I enjoyed the most was making the Anzac biscuits and the puzzles.  this year we didn't have a normal dawn parade because of lockdown so we stood at our mailbox at 6 a.m and listened to the Radio. 

 

Learning about lift

This week we had to learn about  lift.   for our work we had to make a kite.   and the most thing i enjoyd was flying the kite and makeing a kite.   I made two kites because the first one broke. I found my old kite from when I was 4 years old.  My kite  flew better with a tail but it was really hard to make them fly with no wind.  When it had no tail it was really wobbly.  And when we get back to school we are going to do more work about flight what will be cool to do.

catapult Planes

when I was doing my work i came across  catapult planes. I had a try at doing it and I loved it.we have to learn all about thrust. we did aeroplanes because when they fly they use the thrust to get to places like cars they need some kind of force to get  moving again. We had to have these:

• Paper - A4 or pages from a magazine/newspaper
• Rubber band or piece of elastic (hair tie) 
• A pencil / iceblock stick / any stick 
• Ruler and or tape measure.

when i was making my paper plane I made some designs on it. I put the controller and just a little bit of scribble scratch on it what was cool.  put a hole through the aeroplane and put a rubber band through it.  then i used a pencil to shoot the plane from different centimetres.  after a while my plane broke and my rubber band snapped in half.

Most enjoyed was probably shooting the planes in the air because it had more stanima.  If you aim it in the middle not upwards because it would just go down. For advice always do it in the middle so it will ride to the end because it has more chance of catching the wind then going up  some times. It was easy to make the aeroplane with the rubber bands and stuff.thank you for reading my post and we were learning about thrust.

How to make French toast

This is how to make French toast.  First you get a bol and crak the egg on the bol. You can stir  the egg then you can get some bred and put it in the yoke i then put it in the pan  then wait until it has bubbles to flip it and then wait until the same thing again until it's ready and then you'll get a big plate and put it on to it. if you have soe cinnamon I recommend using it on it i like heaps of cinnamon on it or me i like
cooking.

Yest a day we had to do some work.   We had to do natural art like Andy Goldsworthy for a challenge. I made a squid and a jelly fish and other stuff. The most enjoyed  part was doing it.  We used rocks by my pool every one  did not know what to do because it was a hard task  what we need to do but not for me. my mum told me what i could do for it so i did it look cool to me. then i did some more art in my head so i did them with the stones i made a army tank what you can move around what wont be in the photos. i used my shadow to make the squid. If you are doing it you need 2 people. I realle liked it.

ANZAC biscuits

My ANZAC biscuits.  One day ago we made my ANZAC biscuits. When we made them we had to follow the instruction but we did not put coconut in it because we did not have any at home. It was still very nice but the fun thing was eating the ANZAC mix what was very tasty. The exsiting part was eating what was deliceos.
