My name is raffaele. Last term we were doing some Anzac Day work that I didn't get to post it. I learnt some very good facts and stories about ANZAC day and World War I and II. it's important to remember the ones who lost their lives in the war even though it is sad. the thing that I enjoyed the most was making the Anzac biscuits and the puzzles. this year we didn't have a normal dawn parade because of lockdown so we stood at our mailbox at 6 a.m and listened to the Radio.
Simpson and the Donkey is one of my favourite Anzac stories too Raf. I am impressed that you were out of bed to remember our soldiers at 6am on Anzac Day. Were many of your neighbours out as well? It was definitely a bit chilly that morning!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this ANZAC work Raff. It is obvious that you care a lot about ANZAC day and remembering the people that fought in the war. You must have got up early to be ready at 6am!
ReplyDeleteHi Raff, there's lots of other amazing stories about animals who were involved in amazing ways in the different wars too, like dolphins, pigeons, canaries and dogs. Simpson is an awesome story isn't it.
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful photo of the ANZAC morning sky!
